hey, that's the way we do it, new friends and blue skies that never end
yep, that's the tune i was thinking of as i sat in the sunshine and soaked up some rays. a storm of people were about to enter my life, students that i have been emailing all year, and they were about to land in india. they were about to overwhelm me with lots of funny questions: like "i don't know what to do? what do i do?
where do you get water? do they have phones here? do you have electricity?"
so in honor of these people who i LOVE, really i do love them. i decided a little relax time at the pool would do me some good. M and I spent the afternoon there and came home looking like cherry tomatoes. we even used sunscreen and everything. that was so adult of us, but it did us no good. that indian sun and the sunscreen went to war and the sun won.
oh good, now i have itching and peeling to look forward, but hey, at least i got a little color!
