jules was in town to celebrate her birthday, so how did we celebrate? with food of course. TGIFridays was just what we needed! We even had a funfetti box cake from America with cream cheese icing. It was incredible, note the amount of pictures that include CAKE!
this was our last girl get together with everyone we came out here with. jonathan, kelley & kiran head back to the states next week and i leave in 15 days. it was so good to be together and love one each other alittle before we all head separate directions.
community is ONE of the many things God has blessed me with, during my time here. i don't know what i am going to do when i get home. i know community will be there, but i also know it's going to be so different and i'm a little scared about leaving all these wonderful people.
here's megan with the community she served in last summer as a sa101'er. these are her Nepali students at Fellowship on sunday afternoon. some are believers and some have not followed Him yet.
it seems as though the days are just slipping away and i'm saying goodbye over and over. can i just say, this is rough on my physical and mental state. i feel a tad fragile right now. i've a cried a bucket full of tears and i've turned to m & m's for comfort. this is not a good thing. pray for me please, i need it!
i love you jules and i thank the Lord that i met you while eating a subway sandwich in the KGC lobby! i am also glad that we both have "R" last names, so that our rooms were close together in the Dorm! who knew we would become lifelong friends!

Love,
Mom
oh man! i'm fighting back tears right now. i can't believe you're leaving so soon. i'm thankful we have debriefing to look forward to...but it still won't be the same :( even so, i am also happy for all the things you mentioned, especially the lifelong friends part. love you, friend!
